21 of us are traveling to Mingo County, West Virginia to help rebuild homes and work with families who need help.  Please keep us in your prayers for safe travels, but also keep the families that we are working with in your prayers... thanks!

 20 of us will be venturing to Tiger, Georgia for Life Teen Camp Covecrest.  It'll be an awesome week of getting dirty, swinging on ropes, eating lots of food, and just bring together with lots of folks... keep us in your prayers for safe travels!

Lisa Lalley is currently a sophomore at Daemen College majoring in Physician Assistant Studies and attended Immaculata Academy. She is an Orientation Leader and Resident Assistant at Daemen.

 So, this past Sunday through Wednesday, myself and Adam, Mallory and Molly were in Carefree, Arizona.  We were not exactly free of cares, though to be honest, it was a relaxing time.  What were we doing in this resort place in the hot brownish-redish state?  We were at a Life Teen Convention, joined by about 450 youth ministers and Core members from around the country, and the absolutely fantastic Life Teen International Staff.

 Help support youth ministry at our parishes and our trips this summer to Life Teen Camp in Georgia and to our Appalachia Service Project... and eat some good food also!

 All high schoolers are welcome to gather with us in the Antioch Room on Fridays to get a chance to explore our faith a but deeper.  We'll sing a few songs, read some scripture, share some prayers and learn about some aspect of our faith.  Oh, and there will be some hang out time mixed in as well.  

Sometimes we'll stay there for the night, and other times we may make a Mighty run or head to Denny's.  One thing is for sure though - we won't be in a rut.  With rotating leaders this is sure to be a great and fresh experience every Friday.

 All who have completed 8th grade are welcome to our Ultimate Frisbee extravaganza nights!  Come and show off your speed and throwing power, or just come and run around and act silly for a while.  Take your pick.  We'll meet weekly on the back field at St. Bernadette's and play for a while... and probably go in the gym if it's rainy.  See you on Wednesday night!
