Vacation Bible School @ Nativity needs you!

Hey all -- just a quick note for you to see...  traditionally, Life Teen has been asked to help supply some volunteers for Nativity's annual Vacation Bible School, and this year is no different.  Here's a quick message from Mrs. Smith: Howdy, I just finished going over the list of things the girls need for camp in Georgia. I also read through this summer's VBS kit. It's Jerusalem Marketplace where the set up is Jerusalem when Jesus enters the city on a donkey on "Palm Sunday". I would like to invite all of our Life Teen and the Edge to a meeting at my house on Wed., July 16 at 10:30 AM. Can I ask you to help me? I know you're extrememly busy getting ready to go but if the kids knew about this from you, from an email before they left for the first trip, it would get that ball rolling for me a bit more timely.OK, so consider yourself invited to the Smith house on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:30 AM... I'm sure we'll have info in weekly e-mails also...

OMGosh...I just got done

OMGosh...I just got done w/my comment and the page expired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Again: Thanks to all who can help w/VBS this Aug. 11-15. Please come a mandatory meeting on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 11:00-12:00, NATIVITY CAFETERIA OR CHOOSE TO COME AT 5:00. There are 2 different times so choose the one you can make b/c it's important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Even if you can only play a small role or can only come a couple of days...come! The Smiths are setting up the place so you can see where and how all will go when VBS takes place next week. The biggest and funnest commitment is to be a Tribe leader. You get a book and need to be ready every day at 9 to get your group into the day. The next funnest is to be a shop keeper. You get a book and show the kids a craft to make. Another cool thing is to be part of the Drama each day. That's how the kids find out what Jesus is doing with his disciples every day of Passion week. (You get a book too & get to dress up as a Roman guard or a Jewish citizen)There are all kinds of spots besides these where you can go. Call Mrs. Smith if you need a ride or just can't make the mtg. but want to be involved! 662-1170
